How can you obtain asylum residency in Egypt?

يجب علي كل اجنبي مقيم في جمهورية مصر العربية الحصول علي تصريح إقامة ساري بما في ذلك اللاجئين وطالبي اللجوء

فيتم منحهم إقامة لجوء وذلك بعد التسجيل لدي مفوضية اللاجئين، حتى يمكنه الإقامة داخل مصر بشكل قانوني.

تمنح له لمدة ستة أشهر قابلة للتجديد عند انتهائها على البطاقة الصفراء الممنوحة من مفوضية اللاجئين.

Every foreigner residing in the Arab Republic of Egypt must obtain a valid residence permit, including refugees and asylum seekers

They are granted asylum residency after registering with the UNHCR, so that they can reside inside Egypt legally.

It is granted to him for a period of six months, renewable upon expiry, on the yellow card granted by the UNHCR.

*الشروط والأوراق المطلوبة للحصول على إقامة اللجوء:-

- يقوم اللاجئ أو طالبي اللجوء بالتوجه إلى وزارة الخارجية والحصول على رقم الإقامة المرجعي في مكاتب المفوضية والتواصل مباشرة مع مكتب الاتصالات بإدارة الجوازات والهجرة بالعباسية في الموعد المحدد.

التعامل يكون مع مكتب الاتصالات بإدارة الجوازات والهجرة بالعباسية، حيث يقوم بتقديم الرقم المرجعي الصادر من المفوضية لوزارة الخارجية، والحصول على موعد لتقديم طلب الإقامة.

سيتم التوجه إلى مكتب الإقامات بالعباسية، وتقديم جميع المستندات اللازمة واستمارة طلب تصريح الإقامة له ولعائلته، وهي كالتالي:-

1- اصل وصور بطاقات تسجيل مفوضية شئون اللاجئين مع الرقم المرجعي الخاصة بطالبي الاقامة وأسرهم.
2- أصول جوازات السفر.
3- نسخ من كل من مستند التسجيل الخاص بالمفوضية وجواز / جوازات السفر.
4- عدد 2 صورة شخصية بحجم جواز السفر، ولا حاجة إلى صور من تعول، إلا إذا كانوا أكبر من 12 عام وتم إصدار بطاقة توثيق منفصلة لهم من المفوضية.

*Conditions and papers required to obtain asylum residency:-

-The refugee or asylum seekers must go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, obtain the residence reference number from the UNHCR offices, and communicate directly with the Communications Office of the Passports and Immigration Department in Abbasiya on the specified date.

Dealing is with the Communications Office of the Passports and Immigration Department in Abbasiya, where it submits the reference number issued by UNHCR to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and obtains an appointment to submit the residency application.

He will go to the Residence Office in Abbasiya and submit all the necessary documents and the residence permit application form for him and his family, which are as follows:

1- Original and copies of UNHCR registration cards with the reference number for residency applicants and their families.

2- Original passports.

3- Copies of both the UNHCR registration document and passport/s.

4- Two passport-sized photographs, and there is no need for photographs of your dependents, unless they are over 12 years old and a separate documentation card has been issued for them by UNHCR.

 *الرسوم المطلوبة للحصول على إقامة اللجوء:-

• يتم دفع رسوم استخراج بطاقة تصريح الإقامة البالغة 100 جنية مصري في البنك الموجود في المبني أثناء تقديم طلبك إلى وحدة الإقامة.
• سيتم طلب التقاط صورك وبصمة أصابعك، سيتم تحديد موعد لك بعد ذلك للاستلام بطاقة تصريح الإقامة.
• سيتم التوجه في الموعد المحدد إلى مكتب منح الإقامة في وحدة الإقامة بإدارة الجوازات والهجرة، حيث ستحصل على بطاقة تصريح الإقامة الصادرة عن الحكومة المصرية.
• يتم إصدار تصريح للإقامة فقط في إدارة الجوازات والهجرة بالعباسية، يجب عليك الذهاب شخصياً لاستكمال جميع الإجراءات بغض النظر عن مكان إقامتك في مصر

*Fees required to obtain asylum residency:-

• The residence permit card issuance fee of 100 Egyptian pounds is paid at the bank located in the building while submitting your application to the residence unit.
• Your photos and fingerprints will be requested, after which an appointment will be scheduled for you to receive your residence permit card.
• At the specified time, you will go to the residency granting office in the Residence Unit of the Passports and Immigration Department, where you will obtain a residence permit card issued by the Egyptian government.
• A residence permit is issued only at the Passport and Immigration Department in Abbasiya. You must go in person to complete all procedures regardless of your place of residence in Egypt.
