Conditions and documentation of the marriage of Egyptians to foreigners
يتطلب عقد توثيق زواج المصري من أجنبية أو جواز المصرية من أجنبي، عددة أوراق وإجراءات يجب الالتزام بها خلال تقديمها بالشهر العقاري وذلك من خلال القانون كيفية توثيق تلك العقود كالتالي:
The contract documenting the marriage of an Egyptian to a foreigner, or the passport of an Egyptian to a foreigner, requires a number of papers and procedures that must be adhered to during their submission to the real estate registry, through the law. How to document these contracts is as follows:
1- تحدث عملية توثيق عقد الزواج الخاص بالأجانب فى مصر من خلال توجه الزوج والزوجة بشخصهما إلى مقر مكتب توثيق الأحوال الشخصية بالطابق الرابع المبنى الجديد بوزارة العدل بميدان لاظوغلى والذى يختص نوعيا بتوثيق عقود زواج المصريين بالأجانب.
1- The process of documenting the marriage contract for foreigners in Egypt occurs through the husband and wife going in person to the headquarters of the Personal Status Documentation Office on the fourth floor of the new building of the Ministry of Justice in Lazoghli Square, which is specifically specialized in documenting marriage contracts for Egyptians to foreigners.
2- ألا يقل سن الزوج والزوجة عن 21 سنة وأن يكون فرق السن بين الزوجين مناسبا ويفترض ألا يزيد عن 25 سنة.
2- The age of the husband and wife should not be less than 21 years, and the age difference between the spouses should be appropriate and should not exceed 25 years.
3- إحضار شاهدين عدل.
3- Bring two fair witnesses.
4- حضور مترجم من مكتب الشهر العقارى وذلك فى حالة عدم تحدث الأجنبى للغة العربية.
4- The presence of a translator from the real estate registration office in the event that the foreigner does not speak Arabic.
5- إحضار طابع أسرة بـ50 جنيهًا من مجمع التحرير بالقاهرة.
5- Bring a family stamp worth 50 pounds from the Tahrir Complex in Cairo.
6- أن تكون إقامة الأجنبى مؤقتة وليست سياحة عن طريق ختم جواز السفر من مصلحة الجوزات فى مجمع التحرير.
6- The foreigner’s residence must be temporary and not tourism, by stamping the passport from the Passport Department in the Tahrir Complex.
7- تقديم شهادة من الطرف الأجنبى من السفارة التابع لها بالحالة الاجتماعية والسن والديانة وشهادة بعدم ممانعة الزواج.
7- Submit a certificate from the foreign party from the embassy to which it belongs, indicating marital status, age, religion, and a certificate of no objection to marriage.
8- تقديم شهادة من مكتب الصحة بالفحص الطبى لكل من الزوج والزوجة.
8- Submitting a certificate from the health office of the medical examination for both husband and wife.
9- بعد إتمام عقد الزواج واستلام نسختين منه يُخْتَم من الشهر العقارى المختص.
9- After completing the marriage contract and receiving two copies of it, it will be stamped by the relevant real estate registry.
10- تقديم نسخة من عقد الزواج لسفارة الطرف.
10- Submit a copy of the marriage contract to the party’s embassy
